DAY: Edwin George passed away peacefully on May 15, 2004 after a brief illness at Peace Arch Hospital.
He was predeceased by his first wife Lillian in 1985. Ed will be remembered and forever missed by his loving wife Grace; children Linda (Gord) Heggs, Barry (Eileen), stepdaughter Joan (Murray) Toms, grandchildren Trevor, Laura, Ryan, Kristin, Donald, Tracey, sister Lily Winter.
Ed was born in Eatonia, Saskatchewan January 27, 1921. Ed worked for the Surrey Co-Op for forty years delivering fuel in the lower mainland. After his retirement in 1980 he continued to work part time doing what he loved best ''Driving trucks and meeting people.'' His other passion was cars and there are very few car salesmen in the lower mainland who haven't met Ed!
After a private burial, a gathering to celebrate Ed's memory will be held at 17162 21 Avenue, Surrey, BC, on Thursday, May 20, 2004 from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, doantions may be sent to Canuck Place or Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. A special thanks to the wonderful nurses at Peace Arch Hospital.
