HAYNES, Eleanor (nee Rye) Born August 15, 1944, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2009. Its with great sadness we say goodbye to our loving mother, grandma and a good friend. She is survived by her children Karla and Sheldon (Theresa), her beloved grandchildren John James, Jayden, Leigha, Ashton, Davyn and many cousins, nieces and nephews. After a lengthy battle with pulmonary hypertension she passed away at VGH. Her sheer will and determination to get hugs and love from her four grandchildren gave her the strength to drive to Grande Prairie in her final days. Her family is forever grateful for the chance to say goodbye. She enjoyed traveling around BC and had friends throughout the province. She will be sadly missed but not forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pulmonary Hypertension Society will be appreciated.
