HINKA: Elmer Daniel of Langley passed away suddenly November 24th on his 74th Birthday.
Elmer was born in Calgary and is survived by his niece Ann Peeters of Armstrong. He was predeceased by his father Roy Hinka in 1963 and stepmother Annie Hinka in 1980.
Elmer was a logger all his life and had many good friends from Aldergrove to Langley. He operated a small sawmill with his dad in Aldergrove.
Elmer was a happy, easy going person, always willing to help a friend. He had a heart of gold and enjoyed fishing with his buddies on the Fraser Rive. His niece is his only relative and she will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life service was held Thursday, December 2, at 1pm from Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy., Langley.
