It is with great sadness that we announce Emily's passing at ``Langley Gardens'', in Langley, BC. Emily celebrated her 101st birthday there on May 16, 2009. She was pre-deceased by her husband Fred and her son David. Surviving her is her loving daughter Lynne (Garnet), granddaughters Christie (Les) Stacy (Bill), great-grandchildren Miranda, Skyler, Shaya and Quinn as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Emily was born in Spruce Grove, Alberta and was one of seventeen children. Of those surviving her, are her brother Carl, sisters Sylvia and Dorothy. A Memorial Service will be held at: Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2350-148 Street, Surrey, BC Thursday, Sept. 10th, 2009, 1:00 p.m.
