Ersilia Modesta Russo, age 93 passed away on February 26,2018. Born March 6, 1924 in Grimaldi Italy.
She had the most generous, loving heart and touched many lives with her presence. Her family and friends will always be thankful for this gift that was her life. She will be dearly missed.
She married Giovanni Russo in 1944 and was married 37 years when he passed away in 1981. She is survived by her son Gino (Janet) and family, daughter Francesca and family, daughter Dina and family. She has 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a great great grandson, as well as many relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Langley Friday March 2nd @ 10 am. Reception to follow church service at the church hall.
Burial is after reception between 1:00/1:30 at Garden of Gethsemani, 15800 32nd Ave, Surrey, B.C.
