MCLEAN, Esther - born on June 9, 1942 passed away peacefully on November 17, 2006 at Langley Memorial Hospice Centre. Two of her good friends, her older sister and a nurse were at her side. Esther was survived by her older brother, Hank Siemens, her older sister Marie Slade and sister-in-law Muriel Siemens. She was also survived by her nephew Robert Slade, nephew Douglas Siemens and niece Sherie Munoz, niece Natalie Chadwick, niece Rhonda Mead and niece Paula Soreneen. She was very much loved by her many friends and will be greatly missed. She was fun loving and enjoyed people of all ages. In her youth she travelled extensively and was very much into horses. Esther worked for the RCMP for fourteen years and was currently employeed by The Township of Langley. She was looking forward to her retirement and traveling with her sister or with friends.
