In loving memory ~
Eugene Allen Kaetler passed away with his family by his side on November 19th, 2022, at the age of 91 years.
Remembered and sadly missed by his youngest daughter, Sandra Templeton of Summerland, B.C., grandchildren; Lia Wittal (Kevin) and their children, Mackenzie and Brooklynn of Regina, Saskatchewan, Matt Crosby (Nathalie Bazin) and their children, Madeline and Emilie of Summerland, B.C., Tim Crosby (Michelle Sylvia) and their children, Oakley and Ensley of Port Alberni, B.C., Holly Sedawie (Gordon) and their children, Harlow and Gracen of Summerland, B.C., Becca Ask (Tyler) and their daughter, Remi of Summerland, B.C., Cory Burt (Joseph) and their children, Neil and Elizabeth of Summerland, B.C., and Amanda Templeton of Summerland, B.C. Predeceased by his loving wife Shirley Kaetler and his eldest daughter Virginia Caines Crosby.
Eugene was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, but his favourite title was that of 'World's Best Grandpa' and he lived up to that title proudly. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time outdoors. He also volunteered alongside his late wife for the Canadian Cancer Society and numerous other charities. Eugene came from a large family and had 11 siblings, he had many nieces and nephews. In his final years, he enjoyed spending time with his family at his home in Summerland, B.C.
A Celebration of Life took place on Friday, November 25th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at Providence Funeral Homes Summerland, 13205 Rosedale Avenue, Summerland, B.C.
