VALLEAU - EVA "PEARL"

Mrs. Pearl Valleau, beloved wife of Mr. Eugene Valleau of Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away on Monday, December 17th, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Pearl also leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Louise McLellan (Al) of Surrey; three grandchildren, Kristi (Jake Hogland) Allen of Wetaskiwin, Cheryl McLellan and David McLellan, both of Surrey; and one great-grandchild. Pearl was predeceased by one daughter, Frances Harris; her parents, Jenny and James Groom; two brothers; and one sister. Pearl was born on June 7th, 1925 in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she was raised, educated and married Eugene on September 13th, 1941. In 1960, the family moved from Winnipeg to Richmond, British Columbia. Pearl was involved in food service retiring from Woodward's in 1985 and in her younger years she loved to cook, bake and sew. Eugene and Pearl moved to Langley in 1986 and later to Medicine Hat in 1999 where Eugene continues to reside. At Pearl's request, no funeral service will be held.
