Florence Barbara Lambrecht passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at the age of 87, with family by her side. Flo was born May 31, 1931 in Regina, Saskatchewan. At the age of 26, she married Casper and moved to West Vancouver. In 1970, they built the family home in Aldergrove and raised their 5 children. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Flo was a fantastic cook and had a knack for gardening. She was always very proud of her flowers and spent many spring and summer afternoons tending to her garden. In Flo's senior years she made many new friends and enjoyed a full social life. At Deer Creek Estates, coffee mornings, pot luck dinners and happy hour afternoons were something she always looked forward too. She especially loved how everyone genuinely cares for, and looks out for each other. They became her extended family. Flo was actively involved in her community, enjoying a volunteer roll at Langley Memorial Hospital for 15+ years and participating in the Willowbrook Mall walking club twice a week for social exercise. She was a women with a very quiet, strong faith. It was very important to her to be in attendance at Mass every Sunday at St Josephs Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed as a Mom, Nana and Gigi, by the loving family she created.
Funeral Services will held at St Josephs Catholic Church, Monday, May 13th at 1 pm, 20676 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC
