With eyes of faith fixed firmly on the future, Frans "Frank" de Jager passed away peacefully on February 4, 2021 at North Island Hospital, Courtenay. He was 90 years old.
Frank was a genuinely happy person, always eager to laugh, especially at himself. He loved life, people, nature and animals.
No matter what his role - whether a husband, a father, a grandfather or an uncle, he was always a friend first. He was kind, mild, compassionate and unwavering in his support.
Frank loved his God, Jehovah. It was important to him that he say one last prayer with his family by his side, and then he slipped away.
Frank will be sorely missed by his wife, Connie; daughters Ruth, Gail and Cindy; beloved son-in-law, Al; grandson, Shaun (Victoria); and granddaughter, Rachel, the apple of his eye.
