It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dad Gene Wight on March 7, 2023. He passed away peacefully after a long battle with leukemia.
He was born in Regina, moved with his family to Langley when he was 5, and spent the rest of his life living in Langley.
He is predeceased by his parents Cecil and Peggy Wight.
He is survived by his wife; Diane Jones, his daughters Stacey Wight and Josie Johnson(Leif), his stepdaughter Kristina Moore, and his 8 grandchildren; Aiden, Noah, Beatrice, Ben, Lyam, Tate, Terrence & Mattie. He will be missed by all.
A gathering of friends and family will be held in the summer to celebrate Gene.
