STAUDINGER, George August - Born December 30, 1923 passed away
August 31, 2005 in Langley. Predeceased by his wife Violet and daughter Evelyn, he leaves behind his brother Ron; daughters Norma, Carol and Joan and grandchildren Simon, Katie, Scott and Mark. George was born in Benalto, Alberta but spent most of his life in Rossland, BC. He loved the great outdoors; hunting in the Elk Valley and fishing at Watchan Lake. He was also an avid pigeon racer and won many trophies. George proudly served in the RCAF as a navigator during WWII. He retired from Cominco in Trail, BC as a shift supervisor and was proud to earn his 1st Class Steam Engineer Certificate. George will be laid to rest beside his daughter Evelyn, Saturday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Ft. Langley Cemetery.
