George at the age of 83 has passed away from pancreatic cancer.
He is predeceased by sons Shane, Donald, and George Jr; and leaves behind his partner, Carol, and her family; as well as son Les, their wife Crystal, and family in Merritt; daughter-in-law Michelle and family in Kamloops; and grandson Michael.
George took a paper route five years ago after retiring late from being a heavy-duty mechanic. He was a diabetic and knew he needed to keep active. He loved what he did, and his customers in Murrayville were wonderful to him.
