JOHNSON: Gladys Marie (nee Mitchell). Born December 2, 1926, passed away July 5, 2005 at Langley Hospice Residence after a courageous battle wih pancreatic cancer.
Gladys was predeceased by her husband George in 1995. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children; Sherry (Bill) Medlock, Jack (Veronika), Jim (Judi) and Judi (John) Tuffner as well as her beloved grandchildren Janet (Bill), Carolyn (Dave), Robert, Andrew, Felicity, Paul, Lisa and Matthew, her brothers John and Bill (Ada) Mitchell, many nieces, nephews and especially her many friends in Canada and the US.
Gladys was a true friend to all she met and was often described as the kindest, sweetest person anyone could know. She enjoyed the Langley Seniors' Center from the day it opened the doors as wel as many happy times while she spent her winters in Sun City, AZ.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Chapel on Mondy, July 11, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. A visitation will take place at Forest Lawn on Sunday, July 10, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
