WYWKA, Gloria Adaline (Rogers) Born March 1, 1931 in Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in Langley Memorial Hospital on May 14th, 2008 at the age of 77. She is survived by husband Mike Wywka and her children Margaret (Joe) Guariz, Royle (Jean) Snodderly, Roger Snodderly, Miki (Lucky) Butterworth and Michael Wywka, her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, her brother Galen E. Rogers and his 2 children, and 4 grandchildren. Those who went before her include her parents Galen A. and Hazel M. (Cope) Rogers, her sister Joy Ann Rogers and her beloved daughter Leslie (Snodderly) Henwood. Always willing to help others, she was a caring, outgoing and fun person who will be deeply missed. She loved to sing, dance, travel and experience new things, and was an active member of many groups including PEO and Rockhounds.
A celebration of her life will be held at Aldergrove United Church at 2623 - 272 Street, Aldergrove, BC on Saturday May 31, 2008 at 4:00 pm. We encourage those joining us to wear something colourful, as she would have liked that. Donations to the Covenant House Vancouver or another children's charity are appreciated.
