Gordon Stanley Perry

April 11, 1935 to June 20, 2016

Gordon passed away peacefully on Monday June 20, with his wife, Janis at his side. Gord was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2009 and remained at home in Janis’s care until July 2014 when he entered Jackman Manor in Aldergrove. He was predeceased my his mother Kate, father Stanley, first wife Irene, and step daughter Barb. Left to mourn his loss are his loving wife Janis, two sisters, Marilyn Dearborn and Linda Koshakus, brother Brent and wife Paddy, step children, Dale (Irene’s daughter), Bill and Brian (Janis’s sons) and their partners, nieces nephews and grandchildren including two great grandchildren. He will also be missed by many friends and acquaintances and his little canine companion, Princeton. The world has lost a great gentle man. I would like to thank the wonderful staff of Country Lane at Jackman Manor in Aldergrove, the kind and supportive people with the Alzheimers Society. A celebration of Gord’s life will be held in the club house at Chartwell Green in Walnut Grove on August 4th, 2016 at 2:00 PM. You are welcome to come, share stories and celebrate Gordon’s life. A light lunch will be served. 8737 212 Street Langley B.C. In lieu of flowers a contribution in Gord’s memory can be made at either Jackman Manor or to the Alzheimers Society.
