Gwen passed away peacefully in the presence of her family. She battled cancer courageously, through the power of prayer and her will, she survived years beyond her diagnosis.
We are all so proud of her poise and grace through her struggles and her ability to teach dance until the end. She will be sorely missed by her children and family, but we rejoice knowing she has entered into her Saviors arms, whole again surrounded by His Glory. She is survived by her children: Scot, Shawn (Darryl), Cameron (Sophia), grandchildren; Hannah, David, Thomas and Daniel. Her brother Rob (Geri), sister Hazel (Don). She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews that touched her life as well.
A Celebration of Gwen’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday Dec. 6, 2009 at North Lonsdale United Church. 3380 Lonsdale Ave., N. Vancouver.
