HOMAN - Hazel Isabel (nee Brown), passed away peacefully at age 87 in Surrey, BC on May 20, 2006. Born on April 7, 1919 in Burnaby, BC, she was predeceased in 2003 by her beloved husband, Jim; loving mother to Karen and Maureen (John); Grandma to Carly, Julie and Steven; and sister to Gladys. She graduated from Burnaby South High School in 1937 and was a proud Burnaby native until she and Jim made Langley their new home in the early's 1990's. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family and the many friends they made along their journey.
Special heartfelt thanks to all of the nurses and staff of Cherington Place for their years of extraordinary care and kindness during her final years.
A celebration of her life and memorial service will be held at St. Andrews United Church, 9025 Glover Road, Fort Langley, BC, on June 8th, at 11:00 a.m.
