Heather Crystal Juanita
June 8, 1961 - Feb. 2, 2008
After a sudden and short battle with cancer, Heather left us to find peace at last. Heather leaves to mourn her daughters Katrina and Jasmine; their father Albert Timothy Brickwood; and her granddaughter Vienna. She is survived by her father Larry Blain (Dolly); sister Debbie Thornley (Jim); and
Carol Wodtke (Wolfgang). Heather is predeceased by her mother Marlene James and son-in-law Colin Bason, killed in action in Afghanistan July 4th, 2007. She will be sadly missed by numerous relatives, including aunts and uncles and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her two faithful companions, Kodiak and Mocha will mourn her loss as well. Heather was a dedicated employee of the Langley Times Newspaper and will be missed by all that knew her. Many thanks go out to the excellent staff at the Langley Hospice Ward at the Langley Memorial Hospital. They made Heather’s last days very comfortable and for that we will be forever grateful. There will no funeral service as per Heather’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Langley Hospice Foundation or the charity of your choice.
