Helen PRINCE

PRINCE: Helen Margaret, born July 10, 1928. Passed away peacefully after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

She will be loving remembered and greatly missed by her children John (Dianne) Trifoli of Bramalea Ontario, Arlen Hansen of Inuvik NWT, Gary (Lori) Prince of Langley, seven grandchildren, Marlene, Joe, Denise, Jeremy, Tamara, Spencer and Matthew and 9 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by sisters Mary Olenik of St. Paul Alberta, Amy Whittemore of Langley, John Burshstynski of Glendon, Alberta, Mike Burshstynski of Langley and many other family and friends from near and far.

Helen was born in Flat Lake Alberta near St. Paul, moved to BC in 1948, married Roger and settled in Langley in 1957 where she raised her family. She made many lifelong friends through her involvement as a tireless volunteer in various community organizations. Many will remember Helen from her years running the food bar at Valley Natural Health Foods and after that her own restaurant, Helen's Kitchen. Helen loved her hobbies and became proficient at cook, sewing and gardening. She lived a full life taking many trips with good friends to various spots around the world. Helen will be fondly remembered for being a loving caring person who was never too busy to give of herself. A special thanks to Dr. Jim Chan, Dr. Leslie Sand and Dr. Paul Klimo.

There will be a celebration of Helen's life on December 1, 2004 at Willoughby Hall (208th Street and 83rd Ave. in Langley) between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice in Helen's name.
