POLNAU: Henryk - Born in Starkowko, Poland on April 16, 1952 died peacefully in Langley, B.C. on January 3, 2005 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He is lovingly remembered by Sandra his wife of 32 years and his spirit lives on through his children Krystall (Eric), Jason (Lili) and Jennifer (Rob); grandsons Austin, Tony and the little one he will never get to meet; his father Alex (Tamara); siblings Steven (Diane), Erica (Peter), Valdy (Leona) and Ingrid (Dave); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Jadwiga (2003) and brother Carl (1991). Henryk's passions in life were fishing, family and friends and a good game of cards. Even though he never retired he is now at the best fishing hole with a grin on his face and a fish on his line. A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society Colon Research. A special thanks to Doctors Pushie, Ross and Adamson and the wonderful staff at Langley Memorial Hospital.
