ROWE, Howard Gladwyn - born June 21, 1941 in Owen Sound, Ontario passed away May 24, 2006 in Langley, BC, peacefully in Jill's arms, his wife and best friend of nearly 40 years. Beloved father of Laurie (Mullin); good friend to son-in-law John and loving Grandpa Moustache to Connor and Amy, Howard will be missed by many other family members and friends. He was predeceased in 1997 by his son
William Douglas. Howard joined the Bank of Montreal in 1960 as a teller and moved up the ranks to retire as Personal and Commercial Vice President in 1995. He will long be remembered for his sense of family, fairness, honesty and most of all his wicked wit. Many thanks to the staff of the Langley Hospice, especially Liz, Diane and Crystal who took such exceptional care of him in his final days. A service to celebrate Howard's life will be held Wednesday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Langley Hospice Society, 20088 - 40A Avenue, Langley, V3A 2Y6 would be appreciated.
