Ida Van

July 31, 1920 - April 22, 2010

It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ida May Van at The Langley Lodge in Langley BC on Thursday April 22, 2010. Ida was born at Baintree Alberta, July 31, 1920. She was a dedicated and loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and a great friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She inspired us all by her determination to live life to the fullest and to make every day count. All her family and friends will dearly miss her.

She was survived by sons Wesley (Charlene), Robert (Judy), and Garry (Shannon), sisters Bernadine, Ruby and Grace, brother Howard, grandchildren Kellie (Ron) Cerullo, Russell, Gordon, Paula Finnegan (Richard), Lareina (Sean) Duffy, Rob (Carolyn), Tyrone Johnson, Lorie Lonsdale, Leslie, Bryan (Amy), and many great & great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Arthur, daughter Margaret, brother William, and grandson Aaron.

A Memorial service will be held at: Langley United Church, 5673 - 200 Street, Langley, BC, Friday, May 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Association.
