Thelma, Irene Ashby Born August 1, 1914 in Saskatoon, Sask. Died quietly at home in Langley May 2, 2004 at the age of 89.
Predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Donald in 1994.
Thelma is survived by her family. Daughter Deborah Haddock, son-in-law Norman Haddock, granddaughters Nicola Haddock and Lindsay Haddock of Langley. Daughter Donna Evans, grandchildren Nathalie Bluehs, Blythe Evans, Seth Evans and great-granddaughter Skye Bluehs of Buffalo, N.Y.
Thelma lived a long and full life most recently at Harrison Landing Congregate Living in Langley. There she was known for her beautiful blouses and her sharp sense of humor. She will be missed.
We would like to thank the staff from Langley Homecare and Palliative care for their kindness and compassion. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of the fabulous staff at Harrison Landing. She thought the world of all of you and you made her time there very special.
