BOYD, James John. It is with deep sadness that Jim's family announces his passing on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Langley Memorial Hospital at the age of 79 following a long and courageous battle with lung and heart disease. Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife Linda, daughter Susan (Ray), and grandson Edward. He is also survived by son Robert (Akiko). His winning smile, easy personality, quick wit and concern for others endeared him to many family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Langley United Church, 5673 - 200th Street, Langley on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be made to Langley United Church or to Langley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Stephany, his colleagues, staff, and Langley Memorial Hospital for their kind care over the years.
