TURCOTTE, Jeanne (nee Gaudet)
1921 - 2010
Jeanne (Barr) Turcotte was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on November 1, 1921, and died peacefully at Langley Memorial Hospital on January 26, 2010. She was predecesed by Charles Barr, her husband of 45 years, and by Ernie Turcotte, her second husband of five years. She was the loving mother of Ron Charles (Alice) of Carson City, Elaine of Langley, and Brian (Ruth) of Ottawa. She is also survived by her grandchildren Colin, Amanda (Aaron), Michael, Andrew and Graham, as well as her brothers Edouard, Val and Gerald, and many nieces, nephews and friends in Vancouver, Montreal and Moncton. She is now free to dance to her heart's content. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 20675-87th Ave. in Langley February 1, at 11 a.m. Ashes will be interred at Capital Memorial Gardens in Ottawa, Ontario, in the spring of this year.
