Joan Josephine Bauche (nee Bousquet) of Glenn Valley, Abbotsford, formerly of Vancouver, BC passed away on April 10, 2019 at the age of 103 years.
She was born to Joseph and Josephine Bousquet in 1916. Orphaned at a young age, she was raised in St. Albert, Alberta with her late brothers and sisters (Joseph, Cecil, Eileen, Doreen, Edward).
A loving mother and homemaker with a most giving spirit, she dedicated her life to her loving family, and pursued her passion helping others by doing charity work and being actively involved in politics. She married the love of her life Joseph Henri Olivier Bauche in 1944. They had three children and built a successful business in the hospitality business.
Joan is survived by her son Joseph Bauche, daughter Jeannette (Jim) Enos and daughter Denise (Steve Glenn) Bauche, her immediate grandchildren Gordon Coleman and Tacha (Kevin) Shepherd, John Bauche, and Cristina (Dustin) Brumley; her immediate great-grandchildren Kaiden and Aislinn Shepherd, Airabella and Arianna Brumley. She is also survived by her extended grandchildren, Michael Enos, Cindy (Tony) Coelho, Sandra (Michael) Down, Linda (David) Enos, Donna Enos; her extended great-grandchildren Meghan, Kira, Jyllian, Aaron, Trevor, Archie, Ciara, Jaimen, and great-great-grandchildren Asher and Evelyn and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A private family service has been held, followed by burial in the Mt. Lehman Cemetery, Abbotsford.
