ELLIOTT, John F. - ''Jack'' passed away peacefully in Langley on December 3, 2003.

He is survived by his loving family; Edith his wife of 69 years; daughter Janice and her husband Glenn Irwin and son Jon (1936 - 2001) and his wife Betty; grandchildren John (Laurie) Elliott and their children Carley, Jonathon and Jaymie; Jennifer (Ben) Frankline and their children Elliott and Ethan; Jim (Kim) Olsen and their children Taylor, Zachary and Morgan; Julie (Dave) Wester and their children R.J. and Rachael.

Jack was born in Saskatoon and moved to Toronto as a young child where he met and married his wife Edith. After several cold winters in Toronto he moved his family and his business, E & F Trading Corp. to Vancouver. He retired in 1988 and moved to Langley where he devloped his passion and skill at golfing and became a member of the original Rotary Club and Probus in Langley. He received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award for his service to the Rotary. Throughout his life Jack was a talented athlete and avid sportsman; at one time trying out for the Toronto Argonauts and the Maple Leafs. He played on several softball teams at the same time; was a skilled lacrosse player and late in life played golf, cards and loved his frequent visits to Las Vegas.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
