JOHN ROBERT WILSON
July 5, 1948 - May 27, 2009
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. John was predeceased by his dad Jack and his sister Lindy. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife Roberta, his sons Steven Wilson and Derrick Wilson, his mother Thelma Wilson, his sisters; Sheila Engh (Chris), Ann Bohl (Chris) and Laurie Adams (Reg), his brother Jim Wilson as well as many nieces and nephews. John retired from BC Ferries after 35 years. John and Roberta moved to Courtenay from Cloverdale 4 years ago. The family would like to thank the Comox Valley Hospice Society, St. Joseph’s Hospital Cancer Clinic and Dr. Theresa Wilson. There will be a Celebration of John’s Life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th, 2009 from the Black Creek Hall, 2001 Black Creek Road, Black Creek, B.C. If friends so wish, donations in John’s name made to the Comox Valley Hospice Society or the Cancer Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital would be appreciated.
