Kenneth "Ken" Owen Argo, 83, of Langley BC, died Thursday, April 29th, in Langley Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 17, 1938, to William Argo and Valborg Argo in Vegreville, AB, before moving with his family at a young age to live in Vancouver BC.
Ken lived a life of generosity and faithfulness, to his family, friends, church, and the community.
Ken was a loving father to his two children, Aaron Leslie (nee Argo) and Cameron Argo. He was a doting grandfather "Papa" to his seven grandchildren (Amber, Melissa, Ashley, Chelsey, Madelynne, Andrew and Kaylea) and seven great grandchildren (Isabel, Olivia, Ella, Nora, Arie, Ada, and Ivy).
He was a good brother to his three siblings, Marlene Argo, David Argo, and Glen Argo (d. 2003) and a good uncle to his nephew Brad Argo and niece Michelle Dean (nee Argo), as well as a loving son to his parents, William Argo (d.1995) and Valborg Argo (d. 2004).
Ken was much loved and respected by his great circle of friends.
Ken was fondly known by many in the community for his comradery, volunteer work, and the friendly and humorous manner he had with everyone he met. This good man will be lovingly remembered and forever in our hearts. He is greatly missed.
A private outdoor Memorial gathering will be held for close friends and family on June 5th 2021 in accordance with current gathering guidelines. Please give to the charity of your choice in Ken's memory.
