Kittie Marie Violet SAVARD

SAVARD, Kittie Marie Violet. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kittie Marie Violet Savard. Born in 1919 in a log cabin in the mining town of Timmins, Ontario, Kit, her beloved sister Audrey and brother Bill were orphaned but were raised to be independent and leave the world a better place than they found it. Kit served in the military during WWII. She treasured her career as a licensed practical nurse. Her laughter and sneaky sense of humour will be missed by her daughter Suzan and son-in-law Peter Guest of Langley, her son Stewart, of Comox and her niece Michelle McFadden of Gig Harbour, Washington. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mitchell Fagan and especially the nurses and staff at the Langley Hospice for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Langley Hospice Society, 20088 40A Avenue, Langley, B.C. V3A 2Y6.
