Larry James Kuzik

June 21, 1946 - August 16, 2018
It is with great sadness we share the loss of Larry, a loving husband, father, grandfather and dear friend.

Larry passed suddenly at the age of 72, while in Indonesia overseeing the Yacht he was building. He was accompanied on the trip by his grandson Nicholas and good friend Wayne.

Survived by his wife Joy, children Darren (Claire), Rob (Angela), Lori (Greg), grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniella, Taylor, Michael, Natalia, Clarice and Bryan and brother Doug.

Although he left us far too soon, Larry lived with a life of abundance. A world traveller through business and adventure, Larry was currently living out his dream building a Yacht. He planned to sail the seas with his wife, kids, grandkids, friends and share with them the world he knew so well.

A mentor to us all Larry wore many hats, from Dishwasher, Salon Owner, Math Teacher and Recreational Pilot, to Real-Estate Mogul and a highly regarded expert in the Mining Industry. Initiating a business that started in his home, his hard work and dedication led to quickly expanding to multiple locations in Canada, and then further growing into South America where it currently reigns as a world leader in mining conveyor belt systems.

He was an inspiration without exception.

Larry was a generous man whether he was sharing his knowledge and expertise, sharing his time making you laugh, or sitting down to do homework with his grandchildren. Time was never a factor when he was engaged.

A man with exceptional knowledge, strength and determination. A leader and a mentor. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
