MAGSON , LLOYD TRUSCOTT

March 1, 1922 - October 15, 2006

It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our dear father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Lloyd passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital early Sunday morning with his daughter at his bedside. Lloyd was predeceased by his beloved wife, Pamela, in 2001.

He will be forever missed by his loving family; daughter Diane Jarvos (Don), son Bob (Myra), grandchildren Dave (Lisa), Carol (Shawn), Chris, Terry (Janine), and great-grandchildren Doug, Mark, Tanner, Elsie, and Tony.

Lloyd served as an RCAF navigator during WWII. He returned home to Canada in 1944 after crash landing in England on his 29th mission. Lloyd loved his family and was very proud of their accomplishments. He enjoyed happy times at the cabin fishing, water skiing, and playing cards. Lloyd had a passion for golf and was a longtime member of Fraserview and Newlands Golf Clubs. He scored an amazing six holes-in-one and once caddied for Chi Chi Rodriguez.

Lloyd recently moved to Zion Park Manor and loved his new home.

Heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff that treated Lloyd with love and respect. Thank you also to the nurses and doctors at 3 South, Surrey Memorial Hospital for their kindness and advice. Family and friends are invited to join us for an informal celebration of Lloyd's life on Sunday, October 22 at 2:00 pm at 6210 167A Street, Cloverdale.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Zion Park Manor or Surrey Memorial Hospital in Lloyd's name would be appreciated.
