Lloyd TUCKER

TUCKER: Lloyd Jay, passed away peacefully in Wednesday, December 15, 2004 in his home at the age of 76 years.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Lettie Tucker, two brothers, Elton Tucker, Vance Tucker and a sister, Coral McCumber.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 51 years, Gertrude (Toots), sons, Randy of Claresholm, Alberta, Cary (Denise) of Houston, B.C., grandsons, Andrew, Brandon, and Jason, and his sister, Frances (Micki) of Hamilton, Ontario, plus many numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Born in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Lloyd and his family moved to Langley, B.C. in 1947, and has also loved in the Surrey and Abbotsford areas. After his marriage in 1953, he was employed by the B.C. Highways Department for 12 years, and McGavins Bakery for 25 years. He enjoyed many hobbies and interests including camping, fishing, hunting and lapidary skills until his stroke in 1984.

A memorial tea was held on Sunday, December 19, in the Recreation Hall at Blue Heron Housing Estates in celebration of his life. He will be sadly missed by his family and many dear friends. Personal Alternative Funeral Services in Aldergrove were in charge of crematorial arrangements.
