Lorna Elizabeth Tombs (nee Voakes) born in England on March 20, 1941, aged 77 years, passed away peacefully at Fort Langley Seniors Community (formerly known as Simpson Manor) on Thursday, February 14, 2019 to be reunited with her true love, Ken.
She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth L. Tombs, Spencer and Violet Voakes (Father and Mother) and her youngest brother, Eric Voakes.
She is survived and sadly missed by her children, Suzanne Fettback (Mark), Kent Tombs (Gabi), Cheryl Sutherland (Iain), Grandchildren: Gary, Brandon, Angel, Brittney, Michelle, Angus and Danielle and Great Grandchildren: Lawson, Phoenix and Jayce.
She came from a large family of 7 children and is also sadly missed by Spencer, Ronald, Donald, Trevor and David Voakes, her 5 remaining brothers from Australia and England. As well as many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 2 pm at Henderson Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Hwy., Langley, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent to hendersonslangleyfunerals.com.
