Margaret Hannah 'Marg' Foster

October 5, 1934 - March 30, 2021
In Loving Memory ~ It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our Mother, Margaret Hannah Foster. Marg passed away on March 30th 2021 in Kelowna after a short battle with cancer.
Born October 5th, 1934 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, her family moved to North Vancouver when she was a young child. In the early 1969, Marg, her husband Jack, and their 4 children moved to Aldergrove where she made her home for the next 53 years.
Marg was young at heart right to the end, always willing to share a laugh, a smile and conversation. She gave countless hours of her time to her children's schools and sports organizations, helping out wherever she could.
She was a long time member and generous supporter of the Aldergrove United Church, rarely missing a service.
After retiring from many years in the accounting department of the Langley School district, she began a new career as a volunteer with the Aldergrove Community Police for many years.
Dedicated to the RCMP, she was recognized for the thousands of hours she tirelessly gave and was very proud and humbled at receiving the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition for the many years of dedication to her community and fellow citizens.
She will be remembered and dearly missed by her friends, family and acquaintances for her kindness, sense of humour and laughter.
She is predeceased by her parents, William and Edith Allen, Brother Jim, and Sister Patricia; her beloved husband, Jack Foster and grandson, Tyler.
Her memory lives on in her surviving children, Nyomi (Ken), Clayton (Jeanette), Douglas (Connie) and Joel.
Grandchildren, Donni (Shayne), Nathan (Lilee), Lindsey, Carly, Colby, Brad, Jaymee, Colton, Shayla, Cierra, Hannah and Lacey.
Great Grandchildren, Ayla, Julian, Myah and Emma.
As the pandemic prohibited a celebration of life when Marg passed away, we will have a gathering at Aberdeen Cemetery, Fraser Hwy, Abbotsford on October 16, 2021 at 11 am to remember Marg and to wish both Marg and Jack Foster well as they dance together through eternity.
As per her request, "in lieu of flowers, hug your family and friends. Say hello to a stranger and pat the head of a dog."
