It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marg at age 92 on November 22, 2018 in Langley, BC. Predeceased by husband Merv, son Gordon and brother Terry Greenfield. Survived by son Terry (Barb), grandson Steve (Sarah), granddaughter Leanne, 3 great grandchildren Karis, Sam and Lucy, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Born in Langley Prairie, Marg was a true pioneer, as she spent all of her 92 years living in Langley.
Marg, a retired Teacher was a member of the Cloverdale and Langley Curling Clubs, a long-time volunteer for the Langley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary - Penny Pinchers and the Hospital Gift Shop and a member of the Langley Golf Centre and the Langley Lawn Bowlers Club. Marg was a true sports woman either participating, volunteering, or as a fan. Cheering on a local team or a professional team.
Marg and Merv loved fishing and spent many happy times trolling out on the water. They were snowbirds, traveling south to Palm Springs for many years.
There will be a private family celebration of Marg's life. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Langley Memorial Hospital in Marg's name.
