BLOUIN, Margarete Louise on February 1, 2004, at the age of 81 years, passed away peacefully in the arm of her loving children at Langley Memorial Hospital.
Predeceased by her husband Joseph Alfred Blouin, 1 son Francis and 3 brothers.
Mother will be remembered by her children Bernard
(Jeanne), Maurice (Sharon), Wendy, Ellen (Edward). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mom was born in 1922 in Peace River, AB and moved to BC in 1955 and raised her family in South Surrey. Mom loved her garden and raising her cows, chickens, pigs, mink and working very hard to help Dad with his wire business. Mom enjoyed bowling right up to a few months of her passing. Mom has a generosity of spirit infused with love, wisdom and a sense of humor that deeply affected all the people she touched. Mom lived a charitable and holy life and believed very much in her church. She enjoyed life and brought joy and laughter to her family and friends. Mom has left a lasting impression on all of us. We will miss you and love you.
Prayers will be offered on Sunday, February 8, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 20676 Fraser Highway, Langley, B.C. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment will follow in Vally View Memorial Gardens, 14644 72nd Ave., Surrey, B.C. If so desired donations in mom's name may be made to the Lung Association of B.C.
