Marie (Mary) Koziel of Langley B.C., passed away suddenly the morning of October 9, 2017.
Marie is survived by her sisters-in-law, Pauline Bodnar, Cora Koziel and Jean MacLean, and by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter who passed away in April 2016.
Marie was the second youngest of seven children and was born December 19, 1922 in Meacham, Saskatchewan. She moved to Vancouver in her twenties and married Walter Koziel in 1953.
Marie and Walt made their home in a number of different locations, keeping within Langley Municipality.
Marie was admitted to Langley Memorial Hospital for a few weeks before moving to Langley Lodge in September 2017. We are thankful for the kind and loving attention she received at Langley Lodge. It was reassuring comfort to her, knowing that there was always someone available to assist her there.
There will be a Celebration of Life in honour of Marie at the Langley Senior's Centre, 20605 51B Avenue, Langley, B.C. on January 21, 2018 beginning at 11:30 am.
