AMES, Marjorie Loretta, passed away peacefully at Langley Memorial Hospital on Sunday, May 4, 2008, at the age of 95 years. Marjorie was born in Caron, Saskatchewan in 1912, and moved to B.C. in 1926. She will be lovingly remembered forever by her children Connie (Ron), Terry (Rita), Lana (Bob) and Ron (Elaine); 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis. Marjorie loved writing poetry and reading, and she enjoyed her many years as a member of the Langley Writer's Guild. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Marjorie's life on Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Arbor Chapel, Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660-72nd Ave., Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission or Covenant House.
