VIKE: Mary Alice nee Carlson. Born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on February 25, 1917, passed away at Surrey Memorial Hospital on November 27, 2004.
She is survived by her husband Leonard, son Wayne (Angela), daughter Judi and grandchildren Noah, Danika, Jake, Clare and Emma, also her sister in California, Marjorie (John) Boughton. Many will deeply miss her, but praise God she is with Him, as she was a strong believer in Almighty God. A devote Christian who loved to share her beliefs and comfort those who needed a compassionate ear.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2004, at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72nd Avenue, Surrey with a reception to follow. Donations in Mary's memory can be made to the Canadian Institute for the Blind, 100-5055 Joyce Street, Vancouver, B.C. V5R 6B2.
