We are saddened to announce the passing of our brother Melvin Wayne Schendel on June 29, 2017 at the age of 63.
He leaves behind his sisters Debbie (John), Cindy (John), brother Dave (Margaret) nieces and nephews Amanda, Angie (Mike), Jessie (Cameron), Ashley, Kyle, Cody, Emma and great nieces and nephews Mason, Carter, Charis, Lila and many friends and family.
Mel was a happy go lucky guy who always greeted you with a "hey how are you doing."
Mel was very intelligent and could talk about anything and his laugh is something we will always remember.
He was devoted to his family and never missed a family function and if you needed something he was always there.
He is now in heaven in the warm embrace of our parents.
We will miss you greatly, love you to the moon and back, until we meet again.
A service will be held on September 30, 2017 at 11:00am at Hope Lutheran Church, 3151 York Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC.
In Mel's memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC.
