LOEPPKY, (nee FRIESEN), NETTIE
Nettie Loeppky, born in Morris Manitoba, passed away peacefully on February 1st in Abbotsford, surrounded by family. Nettie was almost 88 years of age, but those who knew her knew she never grew old in her spirit, vitality, or zest for life. Nettie was predeceased by her husband Henry in 1999, three brothers and one sister. She leaves to mourn her passing four children , Shirley (Bill) Sawatzky of Agassiz, Garry (Jean) Loeppky of Sorrento, Audrey (Rick) Dirksen of Abbotsford, and Wayne (Stacy) Loeppky of Portage, Manitoba, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grand children, one sister Sally (Don) Lewis of Morris and many nieces and nephews. Mom and Dad moved to Aldergrove in 1985 to be closer to family. Mom loved camping, cooking, dancing, playing cards and family get togethers.
Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Mennonite Church at 24687 - 56th Avenue, Langley, B.C. on February 6th at 1:00 P.M. preceded by a private interment service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
