Miller, Pat (Waybourne)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Miller, 63, who died peacefully at home surrounded by those who loved her on June 16, 2009. Born June 5, 1946, Pat grew up in Langley and spent most of her life here in the town she loved. She was a very special person, a wonderful mother and wife and will be greatly missed by those lucky enough to have known her. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jim Waybourne in 1989 but was fortunate to find love again and is survived by her husband of 16 years Ken Miller. She also leaves behind daughter Paula (Scott) and son Jim (Kate), and granddaughters Jamie and Jenna who brought her so much joy. Pat was an avid bowler for over 35 years; she was ferociously competitive whether it was playing cards or bowling in the Nationals. She loved animals, sports and camping and we hope she is kickin' back at the lake and relaxin', because no one deserved it more than she did. She will remain forever and always in our hearts, 'til we meet again. A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held July 5, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Newlands Golf and Country Club, 21025 48th Ave., Langley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat's name to the Langley SPCA.
