Paul Alphonse Joseph Dore, 61, of Surrey, BC, died suddenly at home with his loving wife by his side. Paul was born and raised in Port Alberni and is survived by his parents Paul and Doreen Dore. He married his high school sweetheart, Debbie (Jensen), and had two children, Christy (Ryan Hickmore) and Jason (Carly Dore).
He loved his grandsons, Jacob, Joshua, Elliott & Elijah, his siblings, Debbie (Dave Bryant) and Susan (Lyle Kenny), his sister-in-law, Louisa (Bob Leyland), his nephews and niece, Daryl & Dean Kenny, Mark Bryant, Jaime Schedel, and Bruce & Dean Leyland.
He founded Ace Copper Specialists when he was 27 years old and grew Ace from a tar and gravel roofing company to an Architectural Sheet Metal company. Paul was artistic, passionate, loyal, loving and genuine. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and dogs, travelling, riding his Harley, spending time in the woods and photography.
Memorial will be held on June 24, 2018 at 10 am at the Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club at 1284 184th Street, Surrey. He will be greatly missed.
