THORP: Peter (Lord)
It is with great sadness that we announce that Peter Thorp (Lord) passed away peacefully on June 10, 2005 at Cedar Hill Care Unit, Langley, BC. Born January 4, 1924 in Surrey, England, he was deeply loved by his wife Judy, his son Andrew (Sandy) daughter Patti (Vince), his two grandsons Derek and Ethan of whom he was so very proud. Brothers-in-laws David and Peter (Donna), nephews Chris (Cathy) Len (Carol), great niece Natalie, great nephews Beau, Jonathan and Stephen and three very special people, Julia, Kendra and Natasha and many special friends. He was a proud veteran of the British Royal Navy and fought for freedom for all of us. He was devoted to his family and was generous, kind and caring to others. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humour and infectious smile. He leaves so many wonderful memories with us. Many thanks to Dr. Aspinall for all his care and friendship over the years. Thanks also to all the Cedar Hill staff or their care and attention. He fought the good fight.
