Phyllis Dench RITCHIE

RITCHIE, Phyllis Dench, passed away peacefully on February 21st, 2009. Born in North Vancouver, January 6th 1920. Phyllis lived in Hammond, New Westminster, Vancouver, Richmond & Fort Langley where she raised her family. She was predecesed by her husband Cam (1973). Phyllis is survived by her loving family; 3 sons, John, (Leslie), Dean (Lorraine), Donald (Dorothy) and 1 daughter Carolyn. 3 grandchildren, Olivia (Neil), Brent (Kristie) & Loralee (Neall), 4 great grandchildren, a sister Caroline (Jack), nieces & nephews. Phyllis enjoyed a full life, one which included many bridge games, friends, operas, & travels. She enjoyed her garden & knitting and was a Girl Guide commissioner and an active member of the Altar Guild for her church, as well as a docent for the Langley Centennial Museum. She will be remembered for her dignified ways & her elegance. A Celebration of Life will be held February 28th at 1 p.m. at St George's Anglican Church, Fort Langley. Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Phyllis, they may be made to St George's Anglican Church, 9160 Church St. Fort Langley, V1M 2R6. The family wishes to thank Rev.
