DOWNING, Phyllis
It is with deep sadness, we announce that Phyllis has left this earth & is now in heaven with our dear sister Sandra. Phyllis lived a life of giving and serving her family, friends and people in need. Phyllis was predeceased by her first husband, Don Downing, her second husband Lindsay Stewart, daughter Sandra Riddle, stepson John Stewart, sister Betty Houston, brother Clare Skaftfeld, and brother-in-law Dick Veenis. Phyllis is survived by her son Clare (Laurie Pelkie) and daughter Leslie (David Wright), her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Michael Brown), Amy and Zoe Downing; Kelsey Riddle; Michael, David, Robert and Daniel Lucas; stepdaughter Judy (Walter) Vettoretti, Aaron and Marcus; Loren (Stephanie) Stewart and Cara (Dana) Flanagan; sister Alice Veenis and brother Glen (Shirley) Skaftfeld;
great grandchildren, Alexie, Mackenzie, Zachary Riddle and Kieran, Rory and Emerson Flanagan. Phyllis “Fifi” had numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved dearly.
