BARRETT - Raymond Frederick. Born August 13th, 1926 in Victoria, BC, died suddenly on December 18th, 2005 at the age of 79. Ray is survived by Nellie, his loving wife of 55 years, sister Nancy, brother Melville (Violet), his four children, Ray (Judy), Barbara, Don and Sandra, his 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Sadly predeceased by his father Fred, mother Emma and his brother Gordy. Ray was a Mason and an astute businessman in Insurance management and sales for the IOF for over 30 years. The photo here was taken just one hour before he passed away. Ray greeted his new puppy with the same joy, exuberance and direct honesty that he applied to anyone he met. Never angry or selfish, always thought of others first. Always quick to cheer you up with one of his jokes. We love you and miss you. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 28th at 10:00am at Henderson's Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley followed by a Celebration of Life.
