WORDEN; Rita (nee Berthold) passed away peacefully in her 85th year at the Cottage Extended Care Home in Abbotsford on Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Rita Worden of Abbotsford, formerly of Carmel and Naicam, Saskatchewan, was the beloved wife of Stanley Worden. Mother of Valerie Morran and her husband Monty of Abbotsford, Gayle Dickie and her husband Rick of Ladysmith, B.C. Loving Grandmother of Adrienne Coutts, Genevieve Morran, Tyler Morran, Lexa Bergen, Elizabeth Morran, Darren, Nicole and Krista Dickie. Great-Grandmother to Tony, Mitchel, Mikayla, Hudson, Rowan, Keira. Sister to Frank Berthold, Edwin Berthold, Irene Wickenhauser, Marcella Weninger. Predeceased by brother Otto, and sisters Veronica Berthold, Mary Koett and Sr. Rita Berthold. Prayer service will be on Monday, September 26 at 7 p.m. at Saint Ann's Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave. in Abbotsford where a Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at 10:30 a.m., reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Society.
